Your wedding is one of the most special days of your life. The ceremony is important as it legalises your marriage in front of your family and friends. It signifies the start of your marriage and where you celebrate your commitment together. Most of our couples also want a good party to celebrate and that is where we are in our element.

Until you are engaged you probably haven’t been to a wedding fayre. There is lots of information online, you read magazines but don’t know where to start…  here are 10 good reasons to visit a wedding fayre;

  1. You get to meet people! Sending an email enquiry is great, however you get to meet the people who will be there to make your day special. The suppliers want to meet you and show you what they can do for you.  We are on hand to answer your questions, The Celebration Roadshow take a set up along so you can see what your DJ set up would look like.

 

  1. A fun day out! Enjoy your wedding journey, attending a fayre with your partner or bridal party is a great day out. You may find your dream florist, enjoy the best cake. You will also get lots of freebies ranging from magazines and samples to free bubbles.

 

  1. Secure the date! With our award winning team we are able to offer multiple DJs on one date, however dates get booked up fast and we can let you know what availability we have. Other suppliers such as photographers will only have one date available, they will be able to let you know their availability and if they can make your chosen date. You could end up ticking off a lot on your wedding to-do list.

 

  1. See everything! Wedding fayres are a great place to see everything a company can offer, most have a selection of all the services that they offer, perfect for gaining ideas and choosing what you would like to have.

 

  1. Discounts! Yes, lots of suppliers have fayre ‘offers’. A great way for getting a great deal and saving a few pennies. It doesn’t mean that you have to make a decision at the fayre, you will want to discuss any bookings with your partner. Get all the details, make sure the supplier has your name, and ask for the expiry date on the special offer.

 

  1. Find out what you don’t want! Finding what you don’t like is as important as finding out what you do like. There are so many suppliers you can use, from a wedding car to a sweet table, to a photobooth and magician. Chatting to suppliers and what they can offer you will soon realise what you want to make your wedding special.

 

  1. The venue itself! Attending a wedding event at the venue of your choice is a great way to experience how they handle a large crowd of people. It also presents the opportunity to meet the event team that could be arranging your big day. We are proud to be a preferred supplier at the venues we are exhibiting at this autumn.

 

  1. Entertainment! Lots of wedding fayres have live entertainment from some exhibitors, a chance to see a magician in action, or watch a pianist playing the piano. Nothing beats seeing entertainment first hand.

 

  1. Cake! How can we forget the cake? Cake makers will be on hand with lots of yummy samples, great to decide what flavours you would like.
